CK Photography & Studio LLC Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using the services provided by CK Photography & Studio LLC, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

CK Photography & Studio LLC provides professional photography services to individuals and families. The scope of work, project details, and deliverables will be outlined in a separate written agreement or contract between CK Photography & Studio LLC and the client.

2. Booking and Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee is required to secure your booking.
Full payment is due 1 week before project completion.
Payments can be made via Credit Card or Zelle.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total session price is required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations or rescheduling.
If the client has paid the full price for the session, they may cancel or reschedule up to 1 week before the session date. In this case, they will receive a refund for the second payment (the remaining 50% retainer).
If the client cancels or reschedules within 1 week of the session date, no refunds will be provided, and the full session amount will be forfeited.
CK Photography & Studio LLC reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, weather). In such cases, the client will be offered alternative dates without any penalty.

3. Late Arrivals

Clients agree to arrive on time for their scheduled session. In the event that the client arrives more than fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled session start time, a late fee of thirty dollars ($30) will be assessed. If the client arrives more than thirty (30) minutes after the scheduled start time, a late fee of fifty dollars ($50) will be assessed. Additional late fees may be applied in similar increments for continued delay.
Client acknowledges that late arrival may result in a shortened session time. CK Photography & Studio LLC is not responsible for any loss of coverage or reduction in final deliverables due to tardiness. The session will conclude at the originally scheduled end time regardless of the client’s arrival time.
If the client arrives more than forty five (45) minutes after the scheduled session start time, the session will be considered a no show. In such cases, the session will be forfeited, and no refunds will be issued for any amounts paid.
All applicable late fees must be paid prior to the delivery of final images.

4. Intellectual Property

CK Photography & Studio LLC retains full copyright of all images created during a photography session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the images for personal purposes, subject to the terms agreed upon in the contract.
Clients may not edit or alter images without permission.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide accurate information and cooperate fully during the photography process, including but not limited to:

Providing access to the location
Allowing sufficient time for photography
Ensuring all necessary permissions for venues and individuals featured in the photography

6. Liability

CK Photography & Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services. In the event of equipment failure or unforeseen circumstances that prevent the delivery of images, CK Photography & Studio LLC’s liability is limited to the refund of any payments received.

7. Force Majeure

CK Photography & Studio LLC will not be held responsible for delays or inability to deliver services due to events outside our control, including natural disasters, accidents, illness, or other emergencies.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
