Five Year Anniversary Love Letter - From Courtney
Dear Sterling,
To the man I prayed for, the one that always has my back, the one that still makes me smile at the end of a long day.
I knew the moment I entered the room that you were different. You are such a special person to me. Every time I call you my angel, I mean it because you are truly one of the greatest gifts that God has given me. I remember praying for you a little girl. That you would be handsome, that you would be kind and loving. I prayed for a best friend, a companion. Non one has every filled that role more than you have in my life. You are my safe place.
I remember coming home every day to our tiny apartment after school and feeling like I had everything because I had you. All the late nights we spent watching the stars and dreaming about our future. All of our pillow talks before bed and refusing to go to sleep without sharing a kiss. These have been my favorite moments. The simple ones. The ones where it’s just been us. Imperfect, no filters or fancy clothes. No catchy post or cute poses. Just us. Every day that I get to spend with you teaches me more and more about the importance of savoring moments and the social love that we get to share. I didn’t think I could love you more than I did on our wedding day, but I find I love you more and more with each day.
I love that you are a patient man. You have a kind and gentle heart. You are so humble and are always trying to be better. You know how to have fun, but you also know how to work hard. You’ve been my adventure buddy, my shoulder to cry on, and the one with magic hugs.

Five Year Anniversary Love Letter - From Sterling
To my beautiful Courtney,
I can't believe it's been five years already! Time has just zoomed by. It's crazy! I can still remember our "supposed" wedding day like it was yesterday (read more about our crazy wedding day here: Our Wedding Day Part 1) Wow! That was something. I'm so grateful we stuck through it together and we are still sticking together through thick and thin, for better or worse. In my case, it's thick and better. ;)

I love you so much and I am grateful for your support while I chose to go back to school. You've been doing a great job putting me through school and supporting me through it all. I'm thankful you've been so kind to make things so easy for me each day. You've become an excellent support to me and I appreciate everything you do so much! You are my favorite cuddle buddy and movie partner.

Through these last 3 years, we've worked hard to build the foundation for the rest of our lives. Here's to many more years together and achieving our personal goals together!
